With version 2 we have thoroughly reworked innovdeHR: the interface has been redesigned, workflows are faster – and innovdeHR now has its own platform website at hr.innovde.de.

Six modules, one employee record
- Directory & personnel – personnel records, badge numbers and departments in one table, filterable by status such as active, on probation or resigned.
- Operations hub – core HR, leave, payroll preparation, performance reviews and attendance in one place, with structured request and approval workflows.
- Leave management – annual entitlement, approved absences and remaining days per person; the balance updates as soon as a request is approved.
- Biometric hardware – ZKTeco terminals connected directly, with punches flowing into the personnel record automatically.
- Configuration & compliance – contract types, degrees and certificates, and fine-grained user permissions.
- Financial operations & additionals – allowances, bonuses, overtime, deductions and advance repayments in one ledger, carried into the active payroll.
Attendance straight from the terminal
innovdeHR connects ZKTeco terminals such as the SpeedFace-V5L and MB460, plus other readers using the ZKTeco push/pull protocol over TCP/IP. Each device is registered by serial number and mapped to a workplace and entrance; fingerprint and face can be enrolled right from the employee profile.
If the connection drops, punches stay in the terminal's memory. As soon as it is back, innovdeHR reconciles them automatically, drops duplicates and keeps the original timestamps.
From request to payroll
Pending leave requests are grouped, with a preview of the new balance before a manager approves. Approved attendance, overtime, deductions and advances export to Excel or CSV, or go to your payroll software through a REST API.
